The first-ever edition of Rentak 2026 made a resounding debut at The MET Corporate Towers on Friday, 24 April 2026, as a sold-out event welcomed attendees for an unforgettable evening of music, nostalgia, and community.
Celebrating 10 years of Triterra

The showcase marked a significant milestone for Triterra as it celebrated its 10-year journey in Kuala Lumpur through a culture-led activation that brought the city together. The evening opened with a special surprise appearance from Donne Ray Radford, former lead singer of American band The Platters, setting the tone for a memorable night. YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), officiated the launch and underscored the importance of such initiatives in enriching the city’s cultural landscape.

Audiences were treated to exciting live performances by some of Malaysia’s most celebrated vocalists – Ning Baizura, Elvira Arul, and Yazmin Aziz – each delivering captivating sets that paid tribute to timeless music that continues to resonate across generations. The evening featured iconic hits such as Waterfalls, Lady Marmalade, Saving All My Love for You, Un-Break My Heart, Kiss Me, Kau dan Aku and many more, seamlessly blending soulful ballads with upbeat classics.
Can’t stop the music

The performances had the audience fully engaged, with many captivated by the sheer energy, vocal prowess, and emotional depth brought to life on stage. Hosted by Douglas Lim, the evening unfolded spectacularly, punctuated by moments of humour, nostalgia, and high-energy entertainment.
Mr Christopher Lim, Chief Executive Officer of Triterra, shared, “Music has always had a unique ability to bring people together, regardless of age or background, and what we witnessed at Rentak was exactly that – a shared experience filled with joy, nostalgia, and connection. We are incredibly encouraged by the overwhelming response and strong turnout for our inaugural showcase, in line with Triterra’s 10-year anniversary!”

An experience brought to life with the help of Triterra’s partners

With sponsorships from Colony Coworking & Event Space and BMW Auto Bavaria & Performance Motors, the event also featured a curated buffet dinner at the “Malaysiana” Food Garden, alongside exclusive rewards from participating partners, including The Colony, Anytime Fitness, Fowlboys, Jhol, Brotani, and Sol @ The MET, enhancing the overall experience for attendees.
As a celebration of both music and community, Rentak Music Celebration proved to be more than just a one-night showcase; it marked the beginning of a new cultural rhythm within the greater KL Metropolis area. For more information, visit their website.
