This man helped a family that has no choice but to live on a bridge with nothing but a box as their bed because they are so poor, and we’re in awe!

A husband, wife and their daughter got the attention of one Ustaz Ebit Lew, when the story of their family went viral. From the moment Ustaz Ebit heard about their plight, he rushed to their location in order to help them find a better life for the family.

With the many strings he strove to pull, he eventually manage to rent the family a home with one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. On top of helping them, he also offered to pay their monthly rent of RM500 as well as donated a mat, pillows, mattresses, soft toys, clothes and kitchen essentials.

He wrote on a post in Facebook about what he did. This is a little of what he said:

“It feels good. I just reached home after an entire day of searching for a home for this family of three. I manage to get a one bedroom, with one hall and one kitchen. I’m paying RM500 for it monthly and by the grace of God I will continue to do so for as long as I possibly can. I’m giving the home to them for free,” he wrote.

“When I see the little one running around playing with one of my daughter’s old doll, I can’t help but cry. It fixes my heart knowing that the same girl who was sleeping on the bridge last night, now has her own home to play in.”

“Thank you to everyone that helped. Thank you to the good-hearted home owner that allowed us in this late at night. I pray that God blesses and helps all those that lend a hand. I have gifted a mat, pillows, mattresses and kitchen essentials. My family’s clothes, I have given as well. By the grace of God, I will come tomorrow to give more.”

What a kind-hearted man! Amidst so much carnage in the world, it is certainly heartening to see that so many heroes today don’t wear capes, and this man is one of them.
