It is common knowledge that our Muslim brothers and sisters are not allowed to touch dogs based on their religion, but that doesn’t mean that they do not have care for the furry creatures.

One example of this is a Malay woman who had felt pity for a hungry stray dog and decided to treat it to a piece of fried chicken.

Hedy’s took to their Facebook page to showcase the heartwarming video of the incident.

They wrote, “Its eyes were very cute when it was asking for a piece of fried chicken.”

In the video, the woman explained that she had noticed the hungry dog after finishing her meal at an eatery. The woman then tried approaching the dog with a piece of fried chicken, but someone else had helped her place the chicken on the ground for the dog.

After some hesitation, the dog quickly picked up the chicken and ran off. The woman later spotted the dog eating the chicken by the roadside.

“Today, after we had finished eating, I noticed you. You were just staring at this restaurant, but your eyes were watery, like there was something going on. You must have been so hungry but you do not have money, right?”

“It’s okay, let me treat you to a piece of fried chicken. But, you were shy. You took the fried chicken and ran, and quite far at that. That’s okay, as long as you feel comfortable and that you wat until you feel full. Please pray for our blessings,” she said.
