Stray dogs and cats lead tough lives, where they have to forage for food or go hungry. Plus, there are dangers around every corner for them.

Hence is why it is amazing to see how there are people out there who take caring for these stray animals to the next level.

Among them is TikTok user, Mommy Manes, who spends up to RM3,000 a month of her own money to provide stray dogs with food, vaccines, medical care and neutering. And she does this despite not having a lot of money.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, she shared her mission to debunk the theory that stray dogs are dangerous, which has led many Malaysians to either fear them or pose a threat to them.

“My main point is to let people know that not all anjing (dogs) are bad. They can be trained to become house dogs too. Most of our dogs under our care are already vaccinated, neutered and we release them back to a safe place. If it is a heavy case, we will bring them in and take care of them until they heal. Then, we will find them a forever home,” she said.

Mommy Manes started caring for stray animals after volunteering for My Stray Rescue.

“I was one of their volunteers. I made it my daily routine to help feed them, give them love and training them to become house dogs. We (My Stray Rescue) also has dog training services to support our expenses,” she added.

If you’re an animal lover who would like to contribute to this amazing cause, you can reach out to My Stray Rescue on Instagram, or to Mommy Manes on TikTok!

“We really could use some help to top up the expenses on neutering the strays,” she shared.
