#KempenBenderaPutih: This Cafe In Klang Valley Is Handing Out FREE Chicken Biryani To The Needy
It’s amazing to see how Malaysians can still be so selfless even when they are in need.
In conjunction with #KempenBenderaPutih (White Flag Campaign) De Takkali Tokku cafe will be providing 100 pax of FREE chicken biryani lunch boxes every week on Wednesday or Thursday for those in need. Nash from De Takkali Tokku told WORLD OF BUZZ that they don’t have a fixed number of free lunch packs that they give. If there are more contributors, they will provide additional lunch boxes to the needy.
The cafe that is based in Klang Valley said that they were able to offer 100 biryani lunch boxes last week on 2 July 2021 to individuals who are currently struggling during the FMCO thanks to the generosity of our humble Malaysians. Since then, they have been selflessly continuing this effort to feed underprivileged Malaysian communities.

Aim to feed the homeless, poor and physically disabled
“We are now in Phase One of the Recovery MCO 3.0. Many of us are going through a challenging period of financial struggle and depression. We are now working towards the aid of Covid-19 to feed unfortunate needy people,” they wrote in their Instagram post.
Not only is the cafe ready to provide free meals to those who are impacted by the pandemic, but they are also extending their food aid to the homeless, urban poor, and the physically disabled.
This whole week, the De Takkali Tokku team was able to feed 90 people on 4 July and 50 complimentary lunches on 6 July! The generous eatery will be offering another 500 red bean buns today (9 July) to anyone in Klang Valley who is in need of food assistance.

Speaking to WOB, the generous cafe said when they first started this charity initiative two weeks ago, they distributed the free meals to the homeless people, and with the help of NGOs, they now know the areas where residents desperately need food assistance the most, especially during the FMCO period.
“We will continue with this charity for as long as we can and for the time being, we will distribute free lunch boxes once a week,” he added.
