JUST IN: “Masjid Jamek Turned Into An Island”, KL Hit By Flash Floods After Heavy Rain!

After a few hours of heavy downpour in Kuala Lumpur today (10 September), a few places have suffered flash floods. The most shocking rise of water level occurred in Masjid Jamek. Info Roadblock JPJ/POLIS also shared some pictures from the scene.

Motorcycles submerged in flood water

This tweet along with several others was uploaded a few hours after the heavy rain in KL showing the flash flood situation around KL.

“Masjid Jamek KL turned into an island”

A lot of vehicles and shops around KL have been severely affected by the flash flood. A number of motorcycles can be seen submerged due to the sudden rise in water level.

The authorities are trying to handle the situation as we speak.
