J&T Express Malaysia today marked the soft launch of its strategic collaboration with ADTEC JTM Kuala Lumpur Campus, a government institution under the Ministry of Human Resources. This initiative follows the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) on 29 September 2025, formalising a long-term collaboration to develop industry-ready technical and logistics professionals.

This collaboration underscores J&T Express Malaysia’s continued commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and its broader ambition to contribute to national talent development while strengthening its operational capabilities nationwide.

Bringing Industry Expertise into the Classroom

The collaboration between J&T Express and ADTEC JTM Kuala Lumpur Campus was established with a clear objective, which is to integrate real-world logistics industry exposure directly into the academic environment. Through the Truck Practical Training Programme, students will complement their theoretical knowledge of vehicle maintenance with hands-on experience using actual logistics vehicles and equipment operated by J&T Express.

By positioning the training environment as a “live business,” the initiative aims to instil a strong sense of responsibility, work discipline, and familiarity with authentic industry expectations—ultimately shaping graduates who are mentally, technically, and professionally prepared for the workforce.

Immediate Enhancement of Technical Training Facilities

During a visit to ADTEC JTM Kuala Lumpur Campus, J&T Express identified a shortfall in essential workshop equipment, including an insufficient Tyre Changing Machine, which limited the students’ ability to perform critical maintenance training.

Recognising the urgency, J&T Express Malaysia promptly allocated an internal budget to support the institute, contributing nearly RM20,000 worth of professional equipment, including a Tyre Changing Machine, Compressor, Jack, and additional tools used for maintaining the company’s 1–3 ton trucks.

This contribution ensures that students can resume practical training with industry-standard equipment, further enhancing their technical readiness.

Key Highlights and Benefits of the Collaboration

  • Talent Incubation
    • ADTEC JTM Kuala Lumpur Campus students will be able to earn part-time income while gaining essential frontline experience in fleet maintenance and logistics operations. High-performing participants will receive priority consideration for internships and full-time positions at J&T Express Malaysia, establishing a sustainable talent pipeline for both the company and the broader logistics sector.
  • National Expansion
    • The pilot phase commenced in October 2025 at ADTEC JTM Kuala Lumpur Campus, with plans for a gradual expansion to ADTEC campuses nationwide. This rollout strengthens J&T’s operational footprint and broadens its socio-economic impact across Malaysia.

A Shared Commitment to Sustainable Growth

J&T Express Malaysia also acknowledged the support of YBhg. Datuk Rospiagos bin Taha, Director General of the Department of Labour, and Ts. Mohd Raris bin Mohamed Yusof, Director of ADTEC JTM Kuala Lumpur Campus, who witnessed the LOI signing ceremony.

Building the Future of Malaysia’s Logistics Sector
Through this initiative, J&T Express Malaysia continues to align its business practices with national development priorities—empowering youth, strengthening community engagement, and enhancing the resilience of the logistics industry.

The collaboration represents a unified effort, combining ADTEC JTM Kuala Lumpur Campus’ technical expertise, J&T’s industry capabilities, and the potential of Malaysia’s young talent to shape the future of technical education and logistics.
