Fancy yourself a globetrotter but have never set foot in Jaipur, India? You’re missing out big time!

The famed Pink City has been stealing the spotlight as India’s trendiest hotspot, which is why these six Malaysian influencers recently flew there to experience its magic firsthand! Here’s what their 4-day itinerary looks like, and see through their eyes why Jaipur is a must-visit destination.

Day 1: Majestic forts and golden sunsets for days

Morning: Navigating Panna Meena ka Kund and Amer Fort

The adventure began at Panna Meena ka Kund, a hidden gem perfect for dreamy photos. This stunning 16th-century stepwell was built to collect the monsoon rainwater and preserve water for the drier months, in addition to helping locals reach water at any level as the pool rises and falls. The stepwell also had communal value to it, as it is said to have once been the gathering spot for women from local households!

@afiqazhar_ waxed lyrical about the group’s visit to the historical site: “Stepping back in time at Panna Meena ka Kund and standing tall with history at Amer Fort — Jaipur’s royal charm never fades.”

Speaking of Amer Fort, the group then explored the grand attraction where intricate mirror work and sweeping palace views left them in awe. @siva_wwc, for one, was particularly enamoured by the fort’s charm, calling it “a real piece of royal history.”

Noon: Luncheon at Samode Haveli

Tezza 4722

A royal dining experience awaited at Samode Haveli, a 225-year-old heritage mansion serving authentic Rajasthani cuisine in a regal setting.

The open-air terrace boasts panoramic views of the bustling old town, offering guests a tranquil setting to kick back with food, drinks and stories to share with fellow travellers. @tay.evelyn listed Samode Haveli under her list of “Aesthetic restaurants to try in Jaipur.” She commented, “Jaipur is home to some of the most aesthetic spots where you can enjoy not only incredible flavours but also beautiful surroundings.”

Evening: Sunset orientation tour by jeep

As the sun descended, the group hopped into open-top jeeps for a breathtaking sunset tour across Jaipur’s skyline, capturing the city’s golden hues in all their glory.

Not many knew the charm of this tour until they joined — including @sheqins. “If you told me a year ago that I’d be watching the sunset on a jeep tour through Jaipur, I wouldn’t have believed you,” she said. “But here I am — heart so full, taking it all in. This moment, this view, this feeling… I’ll carry it with me forever.”

Night: Dinner at PAVO by Santha Bagh

Tezza 4384

Come 8:30pm, the group had dinner at PAVO Kitchen & Bar, a chic dining spot fitted with a stylish and contemporary ambience that’s popular among locals. The menu features a diverse range of cuisines, including North Indian, Italian and Continental dishes, thus satisfying a wide variety of appetites.

The group only had nice things to say about all of the food, but @sheqins certainly had her faves to recommend. “The tosei masala and butter chicken are living rent-free in my head right now!” she said.

Day 2: Palaces, observatories and high tea with a view

Morning: Back to the past through City Palace and Jantar Mantar

History comes alive at the City Palace, home to Jaipur’s royal family. If you were to ask @dharshamini_kesavan, “Why Jaipur?”, she’d mention this location as one of her several top reasons!

Next up is Jantar Mantar, an 18th-century astronomical observatory with massive sundials, designed to measure the positions and distances of celestial bodies with the naked eye. @melissathng, in particular, looked back fondly on her visit to these spots on Day 2. “Jaipur, you’re so photogenic,” she said.

Noon: Lunch at Paro — Modern India Bar

Tezza 7583

Paro’s trendy fusion of Indian flavours, Western food and modern mixology kept the energy high for more exploration. The sextet got to sip on expertly crafted drinks and dine in style; needless to say, they’re all eager to return for a meal here on their next trip to Jaipur!

Evening: High tea at Tattoo Café

With the Hawa Mahal as their backdrop, these Malaysians basked in a chic high tea session at Tattoo Café, sipping on masala chai and snapping the perfect shots. Nothing radiates elegance like a cuppa right next to one of India’s architectural marvels, kan?

Night: Dinner at Steam, Rambagh Palace

The evening reached new heights with a luxurious fine-dining experience at Steam, set inside a restored vintage train carriage at the iconic Rambagh Palace.

Day 3: Hot air balloons and cultural immersion

Morning: Hot Air Balloon Safari

The third day started with the group taking to the skies on a magical sunrise hot air balloon ride over Jaipur’s landscapes, floating above lakes and villages for an unforgettable aerial view.

Noon: Block Printing Workshop in Bagru

Jaipur has more than just views and food. The group got to try their hands at traditional block printing, learning this ancient Rajasthani craft from a family of local artisans.

@melissathng, for one, LOVED being able to get in touch with her creative side while bonding with her group and the locals. “Block printing is probably my favourite, the family is soooo genuine and nice,” she commented. “I was really touched by their open hearts.”

Night: Dinner and cultural night with the Pachevar Family

A trip in India doesn’t get more authentic than visiting a local family’s home and trying out their food and clothes, right? That’s exactly how the day wrapped up — with a homestyle Rajasthani cooking demo, followed by a feast in traditional attire — allowing the group to immerse fully in local culture.

Img 1729

@sheqins was certainly into it, having spent the entire night with an exciting cooking lesson, dressing up and even dancing for the ‘Gram! “Oh, nothing much, I just went to India and learned how to cook some local food and learned how to wear the saree!”

Day 4: Shopping and farewell feels

Morning: Patrika Gate – The hottest Instagrammable spot

Patrika Gate, the ninth gate of Jaipur, symbolises the nine regions of Rajasthan with its rainbow-colored arches, which made for the perfect final photo op on the group’s last day. The group’s @siva_wwc certainly agrees — “Definitely a must-visit if you love architecture, art, or just great Instagram shots!”

Noon: Lunch at LampPost Café

Dubbed as Jaipur’s “Authentic Continental Bistro”, LampPost Café is a cosy, retro-themed eatery with delicious global bites. All in all, a perfect restaurant for the group’s farewell lunch!

Evening: Shopping at Bapu Bazaar

Fxn 2025 04 18 154932.083

No Jaipur trip is complete without shopping! From handmade jewellery and textiles to spices and souvenirs, Bapu Bazaar was a treasure trove that the group wished they could bring home in its entirety!

Thus concludes this group’s 4-day adventure in the famous Pink City, as they flew back home to KL at the end of the last day. Needless to say, they’re already eager to go back to Jaipur soon!
