A Malaysian-born K-pop star, Isaac Voo, has joined the National Service Training Program 3.0 (PLKN 3.0) to show his patriotic spirit towards the country.

According to a report by Kosmo, the 31-year-old member of SKYE (IN2IT) admitted that he has long dreamed of undergoing military training like his South Korean celebrity friends, who have been in and out of military camps.

“I am very happy to be able to join PLKN 3.0, and I will never forget this moment. I have always wanted to know what it is like to be a soldier. I have been watching my Korean friends enter the military. This time, I, myself, feel like I am a Malaysian soldier,”

“I never thought that I would get the opportunity to wear a military uniform and hold a real M16 rifle, but don’t worry, I don’t want to change my profession. What can I say, PLKN 3.0 is fun! It would be a loss if you don’t join in,” he said.

Isaac is currently stationed at the Naval Region Headquarters (MAWILLA) 1 Target Range in Tanjung Gelang in Kuantan, Pahang.

While there, he has, so far, tried his hand at military activities and was excited when allowed to wear a camouflage uniform and shoot an M16 rifle.

He isn’t the only celebrity to promote PLKN 3.0

Isaac is among several local celebrities who are promoting the program in hopes that more young people will participate in PLKN 3.0.

Other celebrities who are participating include Fattah Amin, Diana Danielle, Syaidatuk Afifah, Amira Othman, and several social media influencers.
