Aaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!

Judging from those pictures alone, everyone is already freaking out. Because seriously, have you ever seen blood gushing out like that??!

From the video, a  supposed doctor is seen using a needle or tube to puncture a hole on the forehead of the man and a scary amount of blood flows into a green color bucket. The man was sitting on a low stool with a white towel wrapped tightly around his neck.

Prior to the treatment, the patient can even be seen laughing and joking around. Omg uncle, what can be so funny about bleeding like that!

According to DailyMail, a lecturer named Michael Chung from the School of Chinese Medicine at Chinese University of Hong Kong says that this treatment is called Venipuncture.

“Venipuncture: meaning cutting a vein to remove blood from the body, for therapeutic purposes is a commonly-used method in Chinese Medicine.

Apparently, it is a very common form of treatment in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for pain, swelling, and other blood congestion related problems.

Many netizens were grossed out by the video and some even angry about it.

“CRAZZZZYYY! On how much blood he was shooting out?? Why do they blur out the blood in the pan but not the blood that is shooting out?!?! I wonder if it really works”

“Traditional Chinese Medicine’ at it’s best. Who is to know if this really works?”

Watch the nasty video over here. *Warning! It may be too gross for some people to handle. Don’t watch if you’ve just eaten ok.*
