Before an event is greenlit, there is A LOT that needs to be taken into consideration. But recently in Indonesia, an event was allegedly held without giving much thought to it!

What’s more surprising and bizarre was where the organisers had decided to launch the event – in the middle of a cemetery! You read that right. This is not the production of a movie or a drill, but it looks like the preparation of an event around the cemetery.

In a video shared by Indonesian media, Terang Media, some children can be seen sitting on a chair that was placed on the stage, while a few people are seen walking around the event. Still can’t believe it’s a real cemetery?

If you look closely, it’s easy to spot a lot of tombstones around the area, which they casually walked by.

‘No. Islam does not endorse this!’

The exact location of the event in the graveyard remains unknown, but it managed to get the attention of fellow Malaysians who were unhappy with what they had just seen.

‘Some Indonesians are Muslim but they are lacking in knowledge.’

‘It’s like they don’t have any feelings at all.’

‘Why am I not surprised?’

‘No. Islam does not endorse this. Are they looking for a disaster?’

‘How do you expect non-Muslims to respect you when you don’t even respect your own religion?’

Looking at how casual the people are at the event, do you think it is cultural for them to have an event in the middle of a graveyard? Is this a form of disrespect to the deceased who were supposed to rest in peace?
