True love. Something everyone hopes to experience in this lifetime, but do they all receive it? Often times, seeing instances of this exchange is what makes us believe that there really is someone out there for all of us.

A recent TikTok clip has been making waves online after user @izatulnaimah captured a moment of an older uncle ringing in 2024 with his wife over a video call. Taken in Jakarta, Indonesia, the unnamed man can be seen sitting on his bike while showing his surroundings to his wife through the call.

Full of smiles, the older woman can be seen speaking to him as he manoeuvres his camera around, showing her the glowing lights and crowds of people. At one point, the man stared at his phone while grinning widely, before waving and blowing kisses to his wife from afar, putting the call down shortly thereafter.

Making hearts melt across TikTok, many users commented under the video and expressed how emotional the video made them feel, with one user stating that the old man appreciates his wife wherever he goes, near or far.

“People from those days who fall in love really stay together until the end of time. I hope that I will be able to meet that person who is for me one day,” touchingly wrote another user.
