KK Mart responded to the viral ‘Halal’ Ham & Cheese sandwich issue and clarified that the meat has always been chicken ham, not pork.

UMNO Youth Chief, Dr. Akmal Saleh, voiced out against the issue and reminded them that Malaysians are still not happy about the previous “Allah socks” issue. Just last night (January 14), Dr. Akmal responded to the user of a fake social media account who “educated” Akmal about the various kinds of ham and told him to praise KK Mart for its prompt response.

The UMNO Youth Chief, however, had something to say to the fake account user.

“Bring as many people as you can”

In his Facebook post, Dr. Akmal was baffled to see that people were actually “hiring” others to criticise him on the KK Mart matter, but he made sure to send a message to his haters, telling them that he will never be afraid.

“You can hire anyone to criticise me. You can hire thousands of people, but I will never be afraid.”

“Because I’m doing this for the sake of my religion, my race and my country.”

The fake social media user also reminded Akmal not to pour gasoline on fire on the viral ham & cheese sandwich matter and said that Akmal was merely politicising the matter by bringing up the “Allah socks” issue which happened last year.

Akmal also said that he does not have enough funds to pay those who have supported him all along, and he can only give them his gratitude. He then ended his post with one of his iconic lines, saying,

“No fear, no surrender!”

What do you think of the whole situation?
