In his tweet he writes, “This is a story of a patient that I picked up. She stayed at a PPR, on the eighth floor, but took the stairs down.”

In the corresponding picture, the aunty who took the stairs shared her reason as to why she did so.

“Encik, please do not come to the lift area. Just stop at the side as I will be coming down the stairs.”

“I do not want to use the lift as I do not want to spread what I have to other people.”

Bless her heart.

Commenting on the tweet, many shared their own stories of helping Covid-19 patients get to quarantine centres without jeapordizing the safety of others.

“In my housing area, we reserve one lift to help patients come down from their homes if they want to go for swab tests, head to quarantine or to register their pink tags.”

Let’s hope that we continue to uphold our #KitaJagaKita mantra, and work together to break the Covid-19 chain.
