There are a lot of things you wouldn’t want to find in your food. One of those things is hair (and yes, the grossness of the hair also depends on which part of the body it comes from).

So, what would you do if you found a hair in your food at a restaurant and the staff there told you that it comes with the dish?

A Hong Kong netizen, Michael Chu, took to the 香港茶餐廳及美食關注組 Facebook page to share how he had found a black, curly hair in his roasted pork, only to be told by the staff of the restaurant that it’s ‘pig hair’.

He wrote, “2 of the employees insisted it’s pig hair. So, I guess roasted pig has hair.”

According to a report by 香港01, the man ate in a restaurant inside the Lei Tung Commercial Centre in Hong Kong, when the incident took place.

When he discovered the hair and reported it to the staff there, they insisted it was pig hair, causing him to feel helpless and laugh.

Netizens flooded his post to share their guesses as to where the hair actually came from

Pig Hair 1

“The kitchen staff didn’t wash their hands after using the toilet!”

Pig Hair 2

“The hair would be burnt. It cannot be pig hair, it was ‘added later’.”

Pig Hair 3

“Test it for DNA.”

We genuinely hope that the man didn’t eat the roasted pork after discovering the hair.

What would you do if you were in his shoes? Do feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.
