Driving on Malaysian roads can be dangerous enough thanks to those who, despite the odds, earned their driving licenses the legit way.

But, imagine how much more dangerous it’ll get when those who don’t actually earn their licenses the right way start commuting on Malaysian roads, though it isn’t something uncommon considering all the stories we hear about paying a little extra to driving instructors for passing marks.

But now, people are actually promoting and selling so-called ‘original JPJ driving licenses’ on Facebook pages. Ah, hello polis?

This page selling driving licenses posted, “Are you: without a driving license, too busy, no time to take license, always fail during test, a full time housewife? If yes, you are on the right site. Now, you can get a driving license without a test!”

They also go on to upsell that their licenses are 100 per cent original JPJ driving licenses, that buyers can choose whichever license they please, and can renew them at anytime.

Apparently, after paying for it and providing them with certain information, the buyer will then receive what they consider an ‘original JPJ driving license’ in the span of three to four days.

Yep, it literally only takes three to four days for someone who probably can’t even comprehend road rules to evidently have the legitimate documents to operate a vehicle. This cannot be legal.

Many netizens can be seen engaging with the page, asking on how to purchase the licenses while others can be seen warning that it could be a scam, but either way, we genuinely hope that the authorities look into this matter to prevent such unlawful proceedings from happening.

Please, whatever you do, do not try and purchase driving licenses online.
