With a new government, we now have a whole new line up of Ministers with some of these Ministers having been seen doing some undercover work.

And nope, Transport Minister Anthony Loke isn’t the only one.

Twitter user, laniske recently shared how Health Minister Dr Zaliha Mustafa had showed up unannounced to the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang to chat with the patients there.

She wrote, “Okay, I’ve checked and it’s really the Health Minister at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital last night (December 28). Who would notice if she surprisingly came just like a patient too? No wonder she was asking (talking) to a few people. It’s like no one noticed that she was the Health Minister.”

Having loved ones who require constant hospital visits, laniske hopes that Dr Zaliha Mustafa will continue to conduct checks of government hospitals to further improve them.

“I strongly agree with our Minister coming down and taking a look themselves, especially like this during peak hours. Please, my parents often have to refer to government hospitals. The issues this government is facing, many of them are critical,” she added.

“The waiting time to see doctors can turn to hours, problems with hospital parking spaces, etc. I hope that the current Minister can help with these problems.”

It’s truly amazing to see our Ministers taking steps to ensure the best quality service under their respective departments.

Should more Ministers go undercover to ensure that services under their purview is done properly?
