It’s not everyday that you get to meet your favourite public figure. Hence is why many people go for events that their favourite public figure is attending in hopes that they get to take a picture or shake their hand.

One student got a huge surprise when he was invited to meet Hannah Yeoh at her office after she missed him at an event where he really wanted to greet her.

The Rukunegara Pancasila Twitter page shared this while also showcasing a video in which the student could be seen waiting for his turn to greet Hannah Yeoh but not getting to and him at her office!

They wrote, “This student wanted so badly to greet YB Hannah Yeoh at an event but was not able to do so. When YB saw the video clip, she ordered her staff to search for the particular student.”

“The student was invited to YB’s office for an official handshake and apology.”

In the video, the student could be seen holding his hand out to Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh as he patiently waited for a handshake.

Though, he didn’t manage to shake her hand as other people, including a literal clown, got in the way to ask for pictures.

The video then showed the student at Hannah Yeoh’s office where he got to take pictures with her.

The page went on to praise the Minister for her kind act of inviting the boy to her office.

“What a nice gesture, YB Hannah! You brought so much joy and pride to the student. Malaysia certainly could do with more kind hearted souls like you, YB,” they added.
