Malaysian roads are dangerous as it is, even in housing areas where vehicles still tend to speed and turn corners without looking first.

With that being said, having a Form 1 kid taking a car out for a joyride around her housing area with her younger siblings in the front seat without their seatbelts on is unacceptable.

The #UpdateInfo Twitter page recently showcased a video of a woman confronting the Form 1 girl as the woman stopped the vehicle the girl was driving around her housing area somewhere in Malaysia.

#UpdateInfo wrote, “Yesterday’s (July 28) case. A 13-year-old girl, speeding in a housing area. Residents saw her 3-year-old younger sibling sitting on the hood of the car while the older sister took them around the neighbourhood.”

In the video showcased, a woman could be seen stopping the car driven by the Form 1 girl.

In the video, the woman tells the girl to turn off the engine and asks her how old she is.

“Form 1,” the girl said, though the woman insisted the girl say her age, to which she said, “14”.

The woman then asked if the girl knew the legal age to drive a car in Malaysia, to which she responded, “17”.

The girl also informed the woman that her siblings, who were both standing in the front seat without any seatbelts on, were both 6-years-old. The girl who was driving the car also didn’t have her seatbelt on.

“Okay, this is how it’s going to go. I’m taking a video, I want to go to the police station to make a report, do you understand? You’re not of age and you’re driving a car, it’s an offence. Even more so that just now, you were driving with your younger sibling on the bonnet!” the woman said to the girl.

The girl replied to the woman that her young sibling stubbornly insisted on sitting on the bonnet.

“Cannot. You have to tell your younger sibling to get down,” the woman said, adding that the girl was also speeding and that this wasn’t the first time she had encountered the girl driving the car.

The girl also told the woman to go meet her father, to which the woman said that they could meet at the police station.
