A foreign couple is now seeking assistance from whoever that can help them get their 3-year-old child, after they were tricked into signing away their rights to the little girl by their employers, a local couple, who were also acting as their babysitters.

Here is their story

Counsellor in training, Mega Murthi, took to her TikTok account to share the foreign couple’s dilemma, explaining that a local couple had convinced the foreign couple to sign some documents through lies and deceptions, telling the foreign couple that they needed signatures for licenses to babysit the foreign couple’s child. It turns out that the documents they signed were instead, adoption papers that signed away their rights to their child.

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Mega shared that the foreign couple was employed as a maid and gardener by the local couple.

The local couple, who was babysitting the foreign couple’s child while they worked, had told them they needed to sign some documents for a babysitting license. The local couple said that this was to prevent any trouble should they need to take the child to the hospital for any emergencies.

Considering the fact that they are foreigners from India, they believed the local couple and followed them to the National Registration Department (JPN) and signed the alleged ‘babysitting license‘ documents.

“They tricked the parents by telling them that there are some license papers that needed to be signed in order to get babysitting licenses for foreigners’ children. They were brought to JPN and (the local couple) got them to sign adoption letters instead.”

“Now the local couple has chased away both these Indian citizens,” Mega explained.

The local couple had initially told the foreign couple to move into their office, which was near their home where their child was. But as time went by, the local couple started refusing to allow the foreign couple to see their little girl and kicked them out completely.

The foreign couple then sought refuge at a Hindu temple where they were planning on ending their lives.

Thankfully, this incident was brought to Mega’s attention. She swiftly stepped in to prevent them from doing the unthinkable and have since been assisting them in getting the authorities’ and the internet’s attention on this case.

The local couple have also allegedly been conditioning the child into rejecting her parents.

Adoption 2

After making a report at the Ampang Jaya police station, the local couple had brought the child to the police station. Upon seeing her birth parents, the child attempted to go to her parents but the local couple disallowed her.

At one point, the child even said, “No, I don’t want Amma, I don’t want Appa“, to which Mega explained that she saw the local couple whispering in the child’s ear.

This caused the child’s mother to cry. When the child saw this, she asked, “Why is Amma crying?” to which the local couple told the child, “No, that’s bad people, that’s bad people”.

“Amma and Appa are bad people,” the child repeated.

The local couple then told Mega that, since the foreign couple has no money, and that they were taking good care of the child, they should let it go and let them keep the little girl.

Prior to making a police report at the Ampang Jaya police station, they also made a report at the Sentul police station.

For now, Mega and the foreign couple are seeking assistance from a lawyer from the Indian embassy and are still fighting to get their child back.
