What would you do when you stumble upon a lost elderly woman by the side of the road on your way to work?
One food delivery rider in Puchong was put in that exact situation, and the kicker was that the elderly woman couldn’t give a clear description of where she lived.
The food delivery rider, (@khuzaimie_lemat1.0), took to his TikTok account to share his encounter with the adorably lost elderly aunty. She had apparently flagged him down as he was leaving for work and asked him to send her home.
As the elderly woman sat behind him on his motorcycle, he asked the aunty in Mandarin, “Aunty, where is your house?”
When she couldn’t answer him, he giggled and explained to someone out of the camera frame, “As you can see, since just now she has been telling me to bring her (home). I did bring her. She told me to keep going straight, so I went straight. And then she told me her house number was 9.”
After not being able to find the house, he told the person (outside of the camera frame) that he was going to send her to the police station instead, in hopes that they would be able to help find the aunty’s home.
In a “part 2” update, Khuzaimie shared that he was at a police station with the elderly aunty and the officers were in the process of trying to contact her children.
Soon after, one of the aunty’s family members arrived at the station to pick her up and the aunty gave him the most adorable “bye bye”.
“Whatever it is, this is the sweetest experience (I’ve had) since becoming a food delivery rider. I brought that aunty around, throughout the whole of Puchong, for almost half an hour!” he laughed in the end.
We’re so happy that the aunty is safe and so thankful that Khuzaimie was there to help save the day!
