One of our fears has come to life and it is the scene in Final Destination 2, you know, the one where the car was pierced?

So, a Malaysian by the name of Cass, was driving on the PLUS highway on the afternoon of 14 January. She was near exit 116 and all was well until she was near a truck in the next lane.

Out of nowhere, a metal pole flew out of the truck and came flying towards Cass. As it all happened within the span of a few seconds, she was unable to avoid it and the metal pole ended up piercing her windscreen on the passenger side.

Cass knew that she could not afford to panic and drove a little slower to recover from the shock.

In her viral Facebook post, she said:

“It does look like the scene in Final Destination but it’s not, I thought I would die and my dogs were with me, they might die too. Luckily, I was driving slowly.”

Speaking to WORLD OF BUZZ, Cass told us that she has lodged a police report on this incident and is appealing to the public for any information on this case, especially the license plate number of the truck as it can help with the investigations.

She is still very shaken up by it, “If I wasn’t calm or I jammed my brakes, I would have died.”

Cass also told us that she had her windshield repaired and it set her back a hefty RM1,000++.

You can watch how the situation unfolded here.

It is very fortunate that no one was hurt in this freak accident. However, not all are as lucky and we hope that the authorities will take measures to ensure that incidents of this sort will not happen again.
