Tay reserved an entire cinema hall in Kuala Lumpur for the proposal which Gatita ultimately said yes to. To those who are not aware, Gatita left the corporate industry and found fame by selling adult toys before becoming involved in OnlyFans, an adult website.

Despite her history, Tay decided that Gatita is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. In fact, just last night (October 20), the man took to his Instagram post @weeshentay to answer netizens’ “enquiries” once and for all about whether or not he is okay with Gatita’s past. What about his parents?

“Everyone deserves love, this world is nothing without love”

In his post, Wee Shen made it clear that he was well aware of Gatita’s past, including her involvement in OnlyFans and admitted that his father was also “well-equipped” with Gatita’s history.

“My mum has passed away, and my father accepts my fiance for her past.”

Wee Shen was also baffled as to why netizens had so much time to spread hate and negative energy but not love, and highlighted the effects of cyberbullying.

“You might take cyberbullying lightly, but it actually affects a lot of people mentally, and emotionally.”

The internet personality also reminded those who enjoy focusing on the flaws of others to reflect on themselves before pointing fingers and blaming others.

Regardless, we wish both of them the very best!
