Pets think the world of their owners, which is why it’s so heartbreaking to see people abandoning them like they’re nothing!

Sadly, that’s exactly what happened to this poor dog when it was recently discovered in an abandoned home. Apparently, this friendly dog was abandoned by her owners when they moved away and was left tied to a small gas tank.

The poor dog was left to fend for itself and even resorted to eating its own faeces out of starvation and thirst. Poor thing!

It’s unclear how long the dog was left in that horrific condition when a woman recently discovered it.

Initially, all the woman had was cat food, but she decided to go to a nearby store so she could get dog food to feed the poor animal. She also made sure it had plenty of water to drink.

Two other netizens decided to take a look at the house after seeing the Facebook post, and they were heartbroken upon seeing the dog living in such pitiful conditions. One of the netizens shared a video of the environment the dog had to live in.

The Facebook post wrote,

“We decided to rescue her and send her to the vet. She will be under the vet’s observation for a week, and if everything’s okay after all the necessary treatments, we will spay her.”

The dog, now named Girl, is currently under the care of these kind-hearted netizens until someone officially adopts it.
