Recently, the Big Bad Wolf Books warehouse and BookXcess @Wolf House bookstore in Section 33, Shah Alam was badly hit by the floods causing millions of books to be destroyed.

Andrew Yap, the Co-Founder of BookXcess and Big Bad Wolf Books, shared that the total loss is currently still being evaluated and will take some time to determine.

On top of the tragedy that has struck, they are still finding ways to help the community that has been hit by the floods around them.

“Only Wolf House, located in Section 33, Taman Alam Indah in Shah Alam is temporarily closed as it requires a complete renovation due to severe damage.”

“Though we lost 2 to 3 million books, we intend to donate books to the surrounding communities severely affected by the floods and hope to work with those around our warehouse and we welcome people to join our altruistic efforts,” he said.

If you would like to purchase any books from them, besides the Wolf House outlet, all 14 BookXcess stores across the country including BookXcess Online and the BookXcess and Big Bad Wolf Books on Shopee are all still operational and are accepting orders.
