Dead Body Found In Container That Arrived in Penang From Bangladesh

Authorities at the Penang Port uncovered a body, believed to have been trapped in a container for days.

The container, which originated from Chittagong, Bangladesh, began its journey on 6th October 2022, nine days, before arriving in Penang.

Here are some images that were shared on social media. Viewer discretion is advised.

One netizen commenting on the post, painted a picture of just how horrifying it would be if you were trapped in a container.

“In the factory I worked in, our colleagues used to trap us in the containers for fun.”

“It was pitch black inside and claustrophobia would set in.”

Other netizens commenting on the social media post, mentioned that this may be a case of human trafficking.

Authorities are currently investigating the matter.
