With Deepavali just around the corner, many Malaysians are getting in the spirit of celebration in their own unique way.

Taking creativity into their own hands, the Kuala Lumpur City Council (DBKL) Dance Crew uploaded a short clip to their TikTok page @dbkldancecrew. Decked out in traditional Malaysian attire from various cultures, the ensemble does a quick dance to the song Fireball by Pitbull.

Captioning the post with, “Deepavali vibe started”, there has not been any specific post on what the group has or will perform just yet, though it’s likely that it will be revealed come next week.
