PPV operations at the MINES International Exhibition and Convention Centre (MIECC) came to a halt, when a daughter brought her Covid-19 positive mother to the vaccination centre for her vaccine appointment.

In a video which was taken by a volunteer at the MIECC, the volunteer was indeed frustrated at what took place at the vaccination centre.

“Thank you for f**king up the day. You are confirmed Covid-19 positive, now you f**ked all of us.”

“Because of you, now everybody else could not get vaccinated. Pakai otak la (Use your brain).”

The outburst did not end there as the volunteer shared the story as to how they made the decision to make their way to the vaccination centre.

“Apparently, both daughter and mom went for a PCR test and was tested Covid-19 positive.”

“The daughter did not inform her mother because she felt like there are many medical professionals here that she can consult.”

In his outburst, the volunteer who is also a dentist, questions why the clinic that carried out the test did not report the results, and the MySejahtera app did not cancel her appointment.

“…and she brought her mom here by Grab (pity the driver). After passing the lobby where thousands were waiting to register, suddenly there was a commotion when she notified a volunteer that her mom is Covid-19 positive.

“It is because of selfish people like you that MCO never ends, others suffer/die and new clusters begin.”

As a result, operations at the MIECC were suspended for a few hours for sanitisation.

The JKJAV has since advised members of the public who are waiting for their Covid-19 results to not go for their vaccination or avoid accompanying anyone to get vaccinated.
