Just yesterday (September 4), it was reported that a woman wearing an anime costume resembling the character ‘Kurumi Tokisaki’ was found dead after she was believed to have fallen from a condominium window in Bayan Lepas, Penang, on Wednesday (September 3).

Unfortunately, the cosplayer’s mother has since been admitted to a hospital, allegedly due to immense grief from losing her only daughter.

According to a report by China Press, the mother is currently recovering in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and did not manage to appear at the hospital morgue to claim her daughter’s body.

Her body was claimed by her uncle

The cosplayer’s body has since been cremated without a wake after the body was claimed by the deceased’s uncle and another relative.

The uncle, who did not want to be named, explained that he had not been in contact with his sister, the deceased’s mother, in about 20 years. Due to this, he did not know of their affairs.

He added that the deceased’s father had passed away in June of this year.

Our sincerest condolences to the deceased’s loved ones.
