Growing up in Malaysia, most of us have become somewhat jaded by dirty environments. We’ve become quite used to seeing rats and cockroaches about food outlets around the nation. Nonetheless, as dirty as the environment gets, we’re still very particular about having foreign objects in our food.

Food

And having things like hair, plastic, bugs and the sort is an absolute nightmare.

So imagine the horror of a student from a school located in Yunnan, China, when she found a condom in her food!

The high school student posted the picture on Weibo and it went viral with many netizens sharing their disgust.

“I almost threw up my breakfast. Probably thrown into the the pot by some naughty kid.”

“EWW! This story will haunt me for life! If I see one I might not be able to eat for days.”

This disgusting incident has been reported to appropriate officials and investigations are being done.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first incident where condom was found in cafeteria food. Apparently, a few years back, a used one was found in another student’s meal. Yes, USED!!

This appalling incident also sparked an outrage among netizens as not only is it disgusting to discover such a vile object in our food, it also poses extreme health risks.

The used condom might be infested with germs and diseases and it could have transmitted to unknowing students!

This is why cleanliness is such a vital thing when it comes to all things F&B related. So do be careful whenever you eat.
