In the video, a Malay man curiously asked Amal and her friend if they were Malaysians. Amal responded with a cheerful voice, revealing that they were actually from China. The man’s reaction was priceless as he quickly alerted everyone in the room that they were not Malaysians.

What truly surprised the man and everyone present was how effortlessly Amal and her friend conversed in Malay.

He expressed his astonishment, mentioning that it is often challenging for most China people to communicate in Malay. He went on to commend their proficiency in the language, acknowledging that their Malay was remarkably good.

In an interview with WORLD OF BUZZ, Amal said,

“I studied Malay at a university in China, majoring in the language. Currently, I am working here in Malaysia. After my college entrance examination, I achieved a high score in English, which motivated me to pursue a foreign language major.”

From a young age, Amal expressed her admiration for individuals who possessed the remarkable ability to speak foreign languages. To her, these multilingual individuals exuded an undeniable coolness, and engaging in conversations with people from different countries is interesting.

Amal also added,

“Due to the abundance of individuals learning various languages, Malay stands out as a relatively uncommon choice. However, I am personally drawn to Malaysia, enchanted by its serene seaside landscapes and the vibrant spirit of summer that permeates the air. Compared to other languages, Malay is straightforward and simple.”

These reasons have led Amal to choose Malay as her language of interest, and she finds it incredibly cool and intriguing!

Netizens too were thoroughly impressed by Amal’s fluency in speaking Malay.
