Today’s very first Parliamentary session with the new Unity Government erupted into chaos (what’s new, right?) when an unpleasant topic was brought up by the Opposition Leader and Larut MP, Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin.

He had brought up multiple issues that caused gasps and shouting in the session, but the one issue that stood out the most was a news clipping from a European platform that called PM & MP Tambun Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) ‘Malaysia’s first full blown homosexual Prime Minister’.

He said, “We must defend the image of our country. If there is anyone who release statements that damage the image of our country, then the government must take the appropriate action.”

“On November 24, 2022, as soon as the honorable Tambun took the oath as Prime Minister, a news agency from Italy, Agenzianova, published an article titled ‘Malaysia: first full-blown homosexual elected Prime Minister in an Islamic country‘.”

At this point, Jelutong MP RSN Rayer stood up and requested for Hamzah to retract his statement for being impolite and rude.

“This report insults the honorable Tambun,” Hamzah added as the opposition party started shouting at RSN Rayer as the report shared by Hamzah was a real article and not made up.

Note: We can’t seem to be able to view the link to this article. Perhaps they blocked Malaysians from viewing it?

Hamzah went on to share that, as the report insults our Prime Minister, action should be taken against the Italian news agency.

“The government is responsible for informing the whole world, that the honorable Tambun has been given a pardon by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. The honorable Tambun must take action external agencies. Don’t only take action against those within our country,” he explained.
