Carlsberg Golf Classic (CGC) returns for its 33rd edition, continuing its long-standing presence in Malaysia’s golfing calendar. Running from July to October 2026, this year’s tournament features 30 qualifying rounds across the country, alongside over RM2.7 million worth of prizes across the tournament season.

The campaign kicked off on 4 July with its opening leg at Sungai Petani Golf Club, setting the stage for competitive play across the nation. This year’s qualifying rounds will take place across 30 golf clubs nationwide, including 16 in the Central region, three in the Northern region, seven in the Southern region, and four in East Malaysia.
The qualifying Nett & Gross winners from these rounds will advance to the National Finals, with further details to be announced in due course.
Celebrating sportsmanship beyond the game

“For over three decades, Carlsberg Golf Classic has stood as a platform that brings the golfing community together — going beyond the game to celebrate the shared passion, friendship and the drive to always be better. It truly embodies our Semper Ardens spirit, which means “Always Burning,” always striving for excellence, both on and off the green.
From the first drive to the final putt, we remain committed to creating a #BestWithCarlsberg platform that welcomes and celebrates sportsmanship and passion for the game from across the community,” said Stefano Clini, Managing Director of Carlsberg Malaysia.
Raising a glass to memorable #BestWithCarlsberg moments

Beyond the competition, no round of golf is complete without some refreshing Carlsberg brews. Throughout the tournament season, participants can enjoy a selection of their favourite brews served across participating clubs, including:
- Carlsberg Danish Pilsner
- Carlsberg Smooth Draught
- Connor’s
- 1664 Blanc
- Somersby Apple 0.0 (non-alcoholic brew)
Whether celebrating a great round, reconnecting with fellow golfers, or simply unwinding after a day on the course, these refreshing beverages add to the camaraderie and memorable #BestWithCarlsberg moments that have become synonymous with CGC.

Adding to the excitement, CGC 2026 features over RM2.7 million worth of prizes across the qualifying rounds and National Finals.
