“Bikini Airline” Is a Thing in Vietnam and It’s Owned By a Female!
There’s an airlines in Vietnam that hire good looking flight attendants dressed in bikinis and it was all started by a lady.
Born in Vietnam herself, a female entrepreneur came up with a non-conventional idea to have bikinis as uniforms for her stewardesses.
VietJet Air CEO Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao is going to become Vietnam’s first billionaire and it’s all thanks to her creative idea. anddd sexy flight attendants of course 😉
The company’s motto couldn’t be more perfect, in which the company ran a campaign to spread the message “Enjoy Flying!”. The company even had a very effective marketing tool: steamy calendars featuring the sexy attendants.
Vietjet Air is so successful that although they’ve been in the market for only a few years, they already scooped up about 30% of Vietnam’s airline market.
“You have the right to wear anything you like, either the bikini or the traditional ao dai [traditional Vietnamese clothing],” the CEO said.
“We don’t mind people associating the airline with the bikini image. If that makes people happy, then we are happy.”
Bloomberg reported that the 45-year-old’s fortune is expected to rise up to $1.37 billion within the next three months when the privately-owned airline goes public.
Thao made her first million at a young age of 21 by selling fax machines and latex rubber while studying finance and economics in Moscow. Damnnnnn!
She is unfazed by people who criticizes of her unique business approach.
While Vietjet Air looks like something most people would enjoy, we aren’t exactly sure if girlfriends or wives would be too happy about it!
