This must be heartbreaking for all the V.I.Ps out there.

Earlier this morning, T.O.P from BIG BANG was found unconscious and rushed to the hospital. As of 5pm, he didn’t regain consciousness and was transferred from the emergency ward to the Intensive Care Unit, Koreanboo reported.

One of T.O.P’s friends revealed:

“The results from tests have yet to come out, but I’m suspicious that it’s due to an overdose from excessive drug use. He was having a hard time due to recent events and I think his stress had reached a breaking point. It’s very unfortunate and I hope he wakes up soon.”

This comes as no surprise because the celebrity has recently been under tremendous amount of stress after being charged for the usage of marijuana. He admitted to two instances of smoking marijuana and had even issued a hand-written apology letter for his drug use.

In light of the marijuana charges, T.O.P was deemed unfit for duty and has been dismissed from his mandatory military service. He is now awaiting to be transferred out of the police PR department, with some believing that he’s going to a more peripheral department in Yangcheon District.

However, the moment T.O.P receives his notice of prosecution, he will be removed and sent home. If he is sentenced to 18 months in prison, T.O.P will be forcibly discharged from the military.

After this breaking news went viral online, netizens, particularly T.O.P’s supporters, poured in their thoughts.

“All the media attention must’ve been killing him. I hope he still knows that his true fans, friends and family are still supporting him. Get better oppa!” a netizen said.

“Did he just try to commit suicide? Don’t do that T.O.P! In every 10 people, there’s still 7 of us who love you. Just get through this and be a better man next time!” another supporter commented.

We certainly hope he gets better! Stay strong T.O.P!
