The Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China is ongoing and Malaysia has already garnered 18 medals as of the time of writing. Nearly 300 athletes from Malaysia were sent to compete in this 19th Asian Games which will be held until 8 October 2023.

Here’s a list of the Malaysian medal winners in the Asian Games 2023 as of 1 October 2023.

Gold

Nur Shazrin binti Mohamad Latif – Sailing (Women’s one-person dinghy (ILCA6))

Mohd Qabil Ambak bin Mahamad Fathil – Equestrian (Individual)

Aira binti Azman, Rachel Mae Arnold, Aifa binti Azman, Sivasangari Subramaniam – Squash (Women’s team)

Silver 

Tan Cheong Min – Wushu (Women’s nanquan / nandao all-around)

Lai Chia Chien, Nicholas Ng, Ong Jun Yang, Eng Jun Hao, Yong Zhan Quan, Chong Han Hui – Esports (Arena of Valor Asian Games Version)

Men’s team – Sepaktakraw (Men’s team regu)

Bronze

Tengku Nuraini Ezaty Tengku Khairudeen – Sailing (Women’s windsurfer (RS:X))

Muhammad Asnawi Iqbal bin Adam – Sailing (Boys’ dinghy (ILCA4))

Nurul Aliana Syafika Azizan, Nurul Izzah Izzati Mohd Asri, Anis Amira Rosidi – Cycling track (Women’s team sprint)

Umar Hasbullah, Muhammad Ridwan Sahrom, Muhammad Fadhil Mohd Zonis – Cycling track (Men’s team sprint)

Muhammad Shah Firdaus Sahrom – Cycling track (Men’s sprint)

Muhammad Sharul Aimy – Artistic gymnastics (Men’s vault)

Muhammad Shah Firdaus Sahrom – Cycling track (Men’s keirin)

Muhammad Addeen Idrakie bin Bahtiar, Muhammad Syafiq bin Mohd Kamal, Ng Eain Yow, Yuen Chee Wern – Squash (Men’s team)

Nur Dhabitah Sabri, Pandelela Rinong Pamg – Diving (Women’s synchronised 10m platform)

Shereen Samson Vallabouy – Athletics (Women’s 400m)

Muhammad Azeem bin Mohd Fahmi – Athletics (Men’s 100m)

Mohd Syafiq Puteh, Ooi Tze Liang – Diving (Men’s 3m springboard synchro)

Malaysia has garnered 3 gold, 3 silver, and 12 bronze medals thus far, as of the time of writing.
