Well, this looks like a pretty messy situation!

Yesterday evening (11th May), the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) celebrated their 71st anniversary with a huge bash in the Bukit Jalil Stadium.

According to a Malaysian Twitter user, the major celebration reportedly had thousands of supporters and party members in attendance who unfortunately didn’t leave the area the way they found it.

The angry netizen was disappointed that there were no efforts to clean up the area after the celebration was over, and decided to post pictures of the scene as proof.

More photos of the littered area surfaced on social media.

Wow, what a mess!

Many other netizens also expressed their outrage with the amount of trash scattered around the stadium’s premises. Some of them even joked about UiTM students cleaning up the mess, since news about them being forced into attending the event recently surfaced.

At the event, our beloved Prime Minister Najib Razak hinted heavily in his speech that he might announce the 14th general election sometime in the 3rd quarter of 2017, which is after Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

Let’s hope the area has been cleaned up by now, at least!
