The nation is still shaken by the Batang Kali tragedy where 23 people were found dead and 10 are still missing as of the time of writing.

In order to continue looking for the ones who are still missing, the authorities have deployed several teams to the place of disaster.

One particular team managed to capture the attention of the netizens and they are the K9 team from APM. If you’re unfamiliar with the term K9 team, it basically means that it’s a bunch of good doggos that were trained for specific purposes such as rescuing or even detecting drugs.

In a video that has gone viral on Facebook, we see a  Search and Rescue K9 officer by the name of Tar working hard at the site. He is seen scampering and smelling around to check if there are any survivors.

In other news, the Selangor JBPM director said in a press conference that today’s (17 December) search and rescue operation has been tough and it was disrupted as there is still water flowing at the site of the collapse. He also doesn’t deny that there might be a chance that those who are missing might still be alive.

We certainly hope that they will be found soon with the help of the K9 team!
