Back in the day, if our parents or elders refused to buy us a toy we wanted, we would most likely cry and sulk about it, right? However, times are changing, as evident in this case where a boy turned violent after his grandma refused to buy him a toy he had asked for.
Calm down, bro!
Nextshark reported that a little boy from Qingyuan, Guangdong Province, China violently gripped his grandma’s hair and pulled her down because she said she couldn’t buy him a new toy.
“I am your grandmother! How can you do this?” shouted the grandma.
In response, the boy yelled back and insisted that he wants the toy. Rude, much?

Fearing for the grandma’s safety, nearby neighbours alerted the police about the situation. Immediately, four policemen rushed to the scene and tried to help the grandma. However, the little boy’s grip was so strong that they struggled to release the grandma from the boy’s tight grasp. They even tried to convince him to let go by offering to buy him the toy he wanted.
“Come on! Let’s go and buy a toy now!” said one of the policemen.

Thankfully, the boy eventually let go of his grandma after being persuaded by the policemen several times. After the whole ordeal, the little boy was criticised by onlookers for being “naughty and disrespectful” to his grandma. One even inquired about the boy’s parents’ whereabouts during the heated argument between the duo.
Nevertheless, although the boy got physically violent with the grandma, she was reportedly not hurt by the incident. Thank goodness!
