Recently, a group of students were detained by police after they decided to ride their motorcycles recklessly in celebration of their ‘independence’ after finishing their final examination papers at the Pulau Kekabu Recreation Park in Marang, Terengganu.

According to a report by Harian Metro, the detained students were also ordered to line up and perform Asar prayers in congregation at the Surau of the Marang District Police Headquarters (IPD).

Among the 59 students detained in the Samseng Jalanan Operation, 58 students were SPM candidates while 1 of them was a 15-year-old.

Some don’t seem to feel remorse for their actions

A video of the students lining up, while in their school attire, at the Marang District Police Headquarters has since gone viral online as it shows some of the students gleefully waving, laughing and showing the ‘peace’ sign at the camera despite their detainment by the police.
