20yo from a Uni in KL Reported Missing, Last Seen at His Rented Condo in Cheras on July 9

A 20-year-old Myanmar student from a private university in Kuala Lumpur has been reported missing since July 9 (Wednesday).

According to the Daily Express, Deputy Cheras Police Chief Ridzuan Khalid confirmed that a report was received on July 14 (Monday) from the management of a Kuala Lumpur university where the student is studying.

Investigations are underway

Police have since launched an investigation to determine the whereabouts of the student, identified as Sithu, who was last seen at a rented unit in a condominium in Taman Connaught.

“Sithu Hpone Maw, 20, was last seen on July 9 at a rented unit at Angkasa Condominium in Taman Connaught, Cheras. Investigations are ongoing,” Ridzuan said.

WORLD OF BUZZ has reached out to the university for comment and they’ve informed how the police are still investigating the case and they are in constant contact with them.

“Until the investigation is closed, we will respect the process as we wait for confirmation,” they said.

Anyone with information regarding Sithu’s whereabouts is urged to contact 011-1438 8752 or report to the nearest police station.
