12 Disgusting Things Most Malaysian Women Secretly Do That Men May Not Know About

Let’s be real here, there are certain things that most women secretly do that we would rather men (or anyone for that matter) not know about. Truth is, women have most of the same bodily functions as men; believe it or not, we do some gross things men do too. Some of these things are universal to all women, while some are only specific to ‘super-gross’ girls. So, sorry to burst your little bubbles but here are some of the rather disgusting things most women secretly do that men may not know about.

1. Peeing In The Shower

It is common knowledge that all men do this, but do you know that MOST women actually do this too? Because walking to the toilet bowl to pee while you are already in the middle of showering is just too much effort… wasted effort.

2. For Those Who Wear Tudung: Store Anything That Fits Under It

Well, most of our clothes are made with either no pockets or ultra-tiny pockets that wouldn’t fit anything. So what do we do? We make the best out of whatever space we can get, and that includes the space under your tudung. See, we’re creative people.

3. Peeling Dead Skin Off Your Lips 

So sometimes our lips get really dry, and our hands get a little “itchy”, so we peel the dead skin off our lips. Then, we throw it anywhere…really, anywhere. We secretly just flick them off our fingers. Whatever.

4. Creating An “Emergency Pad” Because You Weren’t Prepared 

Okay this is really impossible to avoid as women. Sometimes, we can’t really predict when exactly “Aunt Flo” is visiting. So when there is a “surprise visit”, we got to work with what we have – that means tissue papers. We would have to fold layers and layers of tissues to create makeshift pads. Desperate moments require desperate measures.

5. Not Washing Your Bra For As Long As It Lasts

Laundry is too much of a hassle. We MIGHT be wearing the same bra every single day, sniffing and checking if it’s wearable; only changing it when it goes way WAY too bad.

6. Putting Money And Cell Phones In Your Bra

Same concept as the tudung. No pockets to hold our stuff? Fret not, off into the bra. Yes we know it’s not the most hygienic thing to do, but what else can we do with nowhere to place our stuff? Again, thanks to the tiny-ass pockets of our clothes, guess we’ll have to make do with this.

7. Wiping The Sweat Under Your Boobs

Having boobs… come at a price. Just imagine this, two big blobs of fat stuck to your body; when you sweat, these boobs are NOT the most ideal thing to deal with. Of course we would have to wipe the sweat off under the boobs, how else should we do it if sweat is dripping down like mad? Thanks, gravity.

8. Fart

Ok, who am I kidding? Girls don’t fart.

9. Never Washing Your Face Brush 

We love applying make-up products, BUT the cleaning… oh the cleaning. We’re constantly busy with our daily lives, it isn’t surprising to sometimes (or too often) “forget” to wash our make-up products. Be it face brush or eye lash curler, sometimes we forget to wash them for far too long that it’s just borderline disgusting. We know it, but can’t help it. Do us a favour, pretend you see nothing, thank you.

10. Scratching Your Head Then Picking Residue From Under Your Nails 

I simply can’t explain why some of us do this. It may be just a bad habit. Our nails sometimes get too long, and when we scratch our heads, there might be some shampoo residue, or dirt, or even dandruff, that gets stuck under our nails, so we pick it out from under our nails and boy there’s a weird sense of satisfaction from doing so.

11. Pick Our Teeth When No One Is Looking

We want to make sure we don’t look gross later with food remnant left between our teeth, yet we don’t want to excuse ourselves all the way to the nasty Malaysian bathrooms to clean them. So what do we do? When no one is noticing, we quickly pick at our teeth so there’s no annoying dangling pieces of meat or vegetable left.

12. Eating Those Pieces of Food That Was Dangling From Our Teeth

Okay, after picking at it, I know for a fact that most of us just eat it, especially when we don’t have a tissue. Come on, these are food from your mouth, don’t act as if that’s gross!

Please keep in mind that women are human beings too. We sometimes aren’t the perfect little fairy you assume us to be. We have our flaws and sometimes our… grosser habits too.
