The Fifth Show In Singapore

Although the concert will be held in 2020 at The Star Singapore, we are sure that the tickets to this South Korean virtuoso’s concert will be sold out pretty soon. That’s because the 41-year-old will be performing for one night only on February 29th, and will be playing his best hits such as River Flows In You, Kiss The Rain, Love Me and May Be.

Yiruma had visited Singapore for four years straight, holding performances from 2015 to 2018, before taking a break this year. His comeback next year will be one worth anticipating.

If you haven’t heard of his greatest hits, why don’t you indulge in them here?

Yiruma, whose real name is Lee Ru-Ma, embarked on his journey as a pianist when he was five years old.

The journey continued as he moved at the age of 10 to study at the Purcell School of Music and King’s College in the United Kingdom. From that stage, he began gathering recognition as he became the first Korean artist to be invited as a performer at the mainstream musical festival Midem 2002 at Cannes, France.

It would be impossible for any serious music aficionado in this era to not have heard any of his works. He is that awesome!

You may have even heard his works but never realised who exactly composed them, as in 2001, the hit song River Flows In You was released, and popularised by the movie Twilight!

You can get your tickets on Sistic from RM299 (S$98) to RM512 (S$168), excluding ticket booking fees.

Meanwhile, limited VIP tickets, which would allow you to enjoy a premium seat and the chance to take a solo photo with Yiruma at a meet-and-greet session, are sold for RM878 (S$288)

If you are interested, check it out here.

When: Feb. 29, 2020, from 8pm to 10pm
Where: The Star Performing Arts Centre

Better be quick because the tickets are probably going fast!
