Taking to TikTok, this truck driver shared why truckers leave space in front of them while driving on busy roads.
“When we give space in front of us, it is not for you to cut in front of a moving truck,” he shared.
“Do you know why we leave space in front of us? Braking for trucks and cars is different,” he explained.
“With the heavy load we are carrying, we cannot afford to brake last minute.”

With this simple explanation, let’s hope that from now on, we will at least avoid cutting in front of a lorry or maybe be a little more vigilant in preventing accidents from happening, especially when they involve heavy trucks on the road.
