Getting tested positive for Covid-19 is probably everyone’s worst nightmare, especially during a pandemic like this. But every once in a while, you’ve got to find the silver lining.

And that’s exactly what people did at the Serdang COVID-19 patients hub! In a set of videos that have since gone viral, Facebook user Sengg Zaii shared clips of patients passionately welcoming new patients into the centre.

“They always give a warmly welcome whenever a new patient comes in,” he writes in his post.

In the respective 15- and 11-second clips, dozens of patients can be seen hollering and cheering as new patients enter the facility. The existing patients are clearly trying to make the best out of a not-so-good situation.

Speaking with WORLD OF BUZZ, Sengg Zaii told us that besides cheering new patients when they enter, people would also often chat with one another in order to pass the time and keep their spirits up.

“Some people still get together to chat, talking about family members, or discussing why they got COVID-19. Others play games and make friends with the people next to them.”

Even during tough times, it’s never impossible to make the best out of even the worst situations. So keep your head high and let’s get through this pandemic together!
