Malaysian philanthropist Kuan Chee Heng, better known as Uncle Kentang, recently went the extra mile to help a homeless man in Subang Jaya by helping clean him up.
In a Facebook post, he shared that the Department of Social Welfare (JKM) Subang office, alongside him and his team, were called in to manage the situation.

Homeless man receives care and assistance
After being brought to safety in Uncle Kentang’s ambulance, the man was assisted with his personal hygiene by team representatives. Uncle Kentang noted that the man had been living in dire conditions and was covered in dirt.
The philanthropist shared,
“He wanders the streets of Subang Jaya. Once in a while, a passerby will give him a bun or some bread. Most of the time, he survives on leftovers and food that has been thrown away.
“He is someone’s son. A mother would be heartbroken to see her child in this state of neglect.”

A call for community support
Uncle Kentang also called on members of the public to join future efforts, stating that he plans to help clean up more homeless individuals in the community.
“In total, Subang Jaya alone has about six regular homeless individuals around the area. Thank you to the team for making Malaysia better. We will do our best,” he added.
