Malaysians love durians to death. From eating it just as it is, to making all kinds of sweet and savoury dishes out of the fruit, Malaysians can’t seem to get enough of durians. But, Malaysians will still draw a line and choose to not a part of the fruit that’s technically inedible, the thorny skin!

Now, a couple of foreigners are freaking Malaysians out as they are seen in ASMR videos eating the thorny durian skin.

The Gamiya Travel TikTok page showcased the durian skin-eating ASMR videos and honestly, it feels more painful for us to watch the videos compared to them eating the durian skin!

In 2 videos posted, the foreign men could be seen dipping the durian skin in 2 different sauces, 1 that looks like a red sambal paste and another that looks like a creamy sauce.

After dipping the durian skin, they then proceeded to bite and eat the durian skin like it doesn’t hurt.

Due to it being ASMR videos, you can also hear every crunch from every bite of durian skin they take!

As you can imagine, Malaysians were hella shook by their antics.

“Brother, that’s not how you eat durian!”

Durian 3

“Don’t you feel the sharpness (from the thorns)?”

Durian 4

“They’re getting raided by Malaysians because they’re eating the durian skin.”
