If you’re among the people who really, REALLY want Coldplay tickets but just can’t seem to gather enough luck to get through the intense purchasing queue, we feel you.

What makes this worse is that there are people who have managed to buy tickets, not for the love of the band or wanting to see them live, but to resell them at higher values.

Scalpers have since been spotted on ecommerce websites, reselling Coldplay tickets for almost double the price.

Coldplay 1 2

For instance, the My Universe VIP Package costs RM2,108 but a scalper is selling it for RM4,000.

On top of that, category 6 tickets (RM398 each) are being sold for RM500 to RM600 while category 4 (RM598 each) are going for RM950 per ticket.

Coldplay 2

Coldplay 3

And, the situation gets odder

There are even people offering ticket purchasing services for amounts of up to RM100.

This means that they’ll endure the stress of queuing up and attempting to buy your preferred tickets for you but you’ll also need to transfer the funds for the ticket to them first.

Coldplay 4

Should they fail to purchase the ticket, they’ll refund you the amount. Seems kinda sus to us.

This whole situation is truly disappointing as there are many who actually want to see Coldplay live but did not manage to get tickets after stressfully queuing up, as they were snapped up by opportunistic scalpers, aiming to make big bucks.

Are amongst those saddened as you didn’t manage to get a ticket? Sound off in the comment section.
