While the Paris 2024 Olympics is now over, there is another HUGE event on the horizon.

The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games will take place from August 29 (Thursday) to September 8 (Sunday), and Malaysia is ready to bring home some medals!

The Paralympic Council Malaysia recently shared photos of the first batch of our national Paralympians as they depart from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) for Paris.

Para 6

They wrote, “Here we go! Passports, check! Flight tickets, check! The first batch of Malaysian Paralympic Athletes is officially on board to Paris.”

Youth and Sports Minister, Hannah Yeoh, was also present alongside the Paralympians’ families, to send them off with much love and support.

Para 5

“Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh, together with the athletes’ families, bid them farewell, hoping that they would win as many medals as possible in Paris,” they added.

Feeling the sporting spirit still soaring from the Paris 2024 Olympics, Malaysians took to the post to wish our national Paralympians the best in the games to come.

Para 1

“All the best to them! Gold medal candidates!”

Para 4

“Good luck to all of them!”

Para 3

“Thank you to all the athletes! Giving our country a good name!”

Para 2

“May they all be successful!”

We can’t wait to see our Paralympians battling it out to make our country proud and to bring home some medals!

Do you have any well wishes for our Malaysian Paralympic Athletes? Do feel free to share in the comment section.
