According to a report from Bloomberg, Thailand’s Health Ministry said the herbaceous plant, Andrographis Paniculata (green chireta), has been tested as an alternative treatment to reduce the effects of this viral infection.

It is said that the initial treatment can reduce costs and provide relief to patients. The herbal extract will be primarily available in five government hospitals before being further expanded.

The herbal treatment will be offered to those aged 18 to 60 years who have mild symptoms of Covid-19 and want to take it voluntarily. This should be done within 72 hours after the infection is confirmed.

According to Thailand’s Health Ministry, the plant extract known as, Fah Talai Jone, is believed to prevent infection and reduce inflammation among the population.

Studies have also found that tests conducted on humans show that the patient’s condition improves within three days of treatment with no side effects if it is taken immediately after the infection is confirmed.

What do you guys think about this? Would you be willing to try this treatment?
